I made this neocities page to post my annotated poems, then I got sucked into learning some html and css for the sake of it. This is my digital playground to test out new ideas so the page will be constantly changing!

I've loved poetry ever since I found a pencil-annotated copy of Poems by Elizabeth Bishop and became obsessed with it in high school. I went and got a degree in English and continued to study poetry in academia. Near graduation, I started writing a poetry zine that became the beginning of my big poetry project . 4+ years later and 3 poetry zines later, this webpage was born. I've always loved reading annotations on art-heavy texts, including song lyrics. My little poetry annotation project was heavily inspired by flavor foley's site , which has annotations for one of their songs .

As for art, well. I started drawing in middle school and was encouraged by my highschool homeroom teacher to pursue the arts. I did not get accepted into art school. But that means I coud draw as a hobby and have no obligation of monetizing it, so that's fun for me! I have original characters whose bios you could read on my refsheet.

This webpage is a mishmash and a bodge of a project since it is my first-ish time coding with html! and besides a shoutout to w3schools i'd like to thank ribo zone and nomnomnami for their templates!
