This is where I put my favorite games!

I love playing indie games, so this will mostly contain indie games! My favorite genres are adventure, rhythm, casual, farming sims, visual novels, dating sims, and sometimes puzzles but rarely arcade games!

First Row

As you can see, the top row are adventure games or adventure-adjacent games. I highly, highly recommend you play co-open! It's a paid game that was included in the charity bundle for Ukraine (hosted on itchio) and if you bought it when the donation period was open, check it out!

Then we have A Short Hike, which I think is a classic for anyone who likes this genre of short 1-2 hour adventure games! It has minigames and sidequests, oohh. Then Toem, which I got for free from epic games during a brief period and it. is. SO FUN!!!! I love the art style and the photography mechanic, if you managed to snag it up when it was free PLAY IT!!!

Deppaneur Nocturne is set in a quebec-like setting where you browse a store with no time limit and there's a bilingual switch! It's fun, it's super atmospheric, I love the art style and the vibes it brings to the table. Also was included in the Ukraine charity bundle, check it out! Lastly we have Button City, from the same charity bundle, again xp. It's a longer adventure game with 3 mini arcade games for you to master! It has charming character and a LOT of fetch quests. Its low poly art style is charming and fun

Second Row

The second row is dedicated to farming/management sims! God, I can't shut up about stardew valley. PLAY STARDEW VALLEY. Dredge is free game i snagged on epic games and it. is. ADDICTIVE. I LOVE fishing minigames and I LOVE the stadew fishing minigame and an entire game made up of fishing minigames? Amazing. I did turn off the horror setting because I am a big baby. Otherwise the game is 100% still playable without the horror elements. It's still tense during night time but once you get into the groove it's like no other man. I'm tellin' ya. I love dredge

Next up we have apico, a cozy little beekeeping sim with pixel graphics. It has so much to do. Like seriously. It can get overwhelming at first but there are no time limits in the game, you gotta take it slow. Otherwise a very chill and laid back game. Next up we have slime rancher. classic. my laptop can BARELY run the racing minigame for the lategame so I havent 100%'d it. Lastly we have bear and breakfast. free epic game once again baby. The plot in BnB is pretty weak but it makes up for it by being absolutely addictive. I LOVE the complexity spikes and i LOVE decorating, even though it ends up being me min maxxing the shit out of the game.

Third Row

Third row is for rhythm games, babyyyy. I need you to play sayonara wild hearts. Okay. Besides co-open, if you are going to play one game from this rec list go play sayonara wild hearts. I played it around when I was going through a breakup and it shattered me. The soundtrack is AMAZING. I cannot get enough of it. PLAY SAYONARA WILD HEARTS it goes on sale often enough because it is an old game. PLAY IT. THE ART STYLE. THE SYNTH POP. THE STORY. THE SOUNDTRACK.

Then we got ensemble stars music. A new fixation of mine. Just to put it out there, gacha bad. And I've spent 1 dollar on this game for the bonus card of Hajime. Tee hee. Besides that Enstars fills the void that LLSIF left inside of me. I love circular layouts for mobile rhythm games because straight layouts 9like Deemo, Bandori, proseka) all give my more wrist strain, for some reason. Enstars keeps on adding new tracks every other week or so and it's a hell of a good time unless you have an addictive personality. Gacha responcibly, kids

Klang 2, included in the- yes that charity bundle as well. Surprisingly so, so good. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do now. It has a funky EDM soundtrack and intuitive controller-friendly controls (not that i use em! I'm a PC player!). Definitely a hidden indie gem if I ever saw one

taiko for the wii. I used to play this on the library wii alongside guitar hero. guitar hero isn't on this list because its default wiimote controls is ASS. THEY WANT YOU TO BUY THE KIT. anyways. lastly, Lovebirb. A short and sweet dating sim x rhythm game with birds. It's free and that was enough to sell me on that product.

Fourth Row

Dating sims, babyyyyy. There are many that I couldn't include here because they're too short or too NSFW. Either way, we start with Red Embrace Hollywood. The only 18+ game in this list that I have to include here because it's just so good. I love this game and its characters. I love the character customization although it's quite limited your character does show up in CGs. It's a nihilist game with downer endings, so don't buy it expecting fluff. Other than that this game changed my life

Coffee Talk was included in the Plaestinian Relief bundle on itch and that gave me the opportunity to finally play the classic! I think the writing is too much telling instead of showing, but I love the barista mechanics and the atmosphere this game has carefully crafted.

Nusantara: Legend of the Winged Ones is an old game and- wait- hey! I've written a long review on this! Go check it out here!. Anyways Nekopara Catboys Paradise was an April Fools from the creators of Nekopara, but man it's just too sweet to not include here. It's free! I love the art, the cg, and the choice of characters.

Lastly we got MysMe. The only mobile game here that I had to include because of the memories attatched to it. I would wake up at 5 am to answer these guys' chatrooms. I was down BAD. My favorite love interest is OBVIOUSLY Yoosung. Yoosung best boy
